Argen (Argenby, sigma-face) is a popular blogger from Kyrgyzstan, who became famous thanks to a Tiktok video with a sigma-face.
Origin
The full name of the tiktoker is Argen Kerimov. He was born in 2002 in the city of Tokmok in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. He grew up in a family with three sisters. He studied at the Kyrgyz State Law Academy, but dropped out.
Argen started his blogging career in 2021. He started a channel on YouTube, which, however, did not begin to develop. Instead, the guy switched to Tiktok.
Argenby published his first Tiktok video on February 8, 2021. It was a typical reaction to a trend video – Argen tried to take off the sweater with his foot.
Over time, there was more content on the channel, the guy gained a subscriber base. In 2022, popularity came to him. Many videos began to gain thousands or even millions of views.
The real glory came to Argen in November-December 2022. At that time, his account already had 3 million subscribers. During this period, the guy became known as Sigma. In his videos, he began to increasingly do the so-called sigma face, parodying Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.

As a result, in a couple of months, Argen was able to significantly increase the number of subscribers. At the time of this writing, his Tiktok has over 13 million followers. Among his followers are celebrities such as Khaby Lame and Mr. Beast. The latter even made a collaboration with Argen, this video was released on December 29 and gained 68 million views.

Argen Kerimov popularized in popular culture such a phenomenon as sigma-face. Sigmas are called brutal and self-confident men. They are usually easy and often in contact with the opposite sex, successful and popular. At the same time, Sigmas are silent and rebellious, they like to play by their own rules. The clearest example of such a man is Keanu Reeves’ hero John Wick.
