Twitter users figured out how to post multiple gifs on twitter. To do this, you have to go a long way, but if you like spectacular posts, the result will please you.
A new bug on Twitter was discovered by the user @thugIyfe. On december 15th, he posted in one post two gifs with Rihanna. And in replays he added instructions on how to do the same.
Okay, to do this:
1. Find a gif.
2. Insert that gif into https://t.co/URBn9RaObl
3. Once you’ve done that, click convert.
4. The gif that you entered will then be converted to an APNG file
5. Save that file.
6. Log on to Twitter via Safari
7. Select the files and press tweet. pic.twitter.com/bAdDyeCTji— *** (@thugIyfe) December 14, 2019
As follows from the guide, Twitter does not recognize APNG (Animated PNG) files as GIFs. So, you can publish several pictures at once in one tweet.
How to post multiple gifs on twitter
The instruction of @thugIyfe is not perfect and has several nuances. First of all, such converted GIFs will not play on Android mobile apps. You can see them only on the desktop.
If you are reading this article from a smartphone, here is a video demonstrating how this works.
I know it worked, but this is extremely funny ⤵️⤵️⤵️ pic.twitter.com/NqbFWeJ0PC

Secondly, not all APNG files work correctly after downloading. We empirically found that only those images that last only 2-3 seconds are well displayed. Heavy and long gifs after conversion turn into a static image.
But the feature works not only in Safari, as the author wrote, but also in other browsers. We checked through Chrome – GIFs are loading.
Many followed @thugIyfe’s advice and started tweeting with a few gifs. It looks really pretty.
